On Saturday, July 4, we will be at Marina City Club in Marina Del Rey, 1pm to 4pm. The address is 4333 Admiralty Way, 90292. This is a Fourth of July Barbecue and Salsa Dance Party for the whole family. The buffet will include BBQ favorites from the grill, assorted salads, veggies, and sweets, including Dandy Don's Sundae Bar. On Thursday, September 10, we will play an outdoor concert at LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes, across Main St from El Pueblo at Olvera St in Downtown Los Angeles, from 6pm to 8pm, as part of the Musicians Foundation of Los Angeles Summer Concert Series. This concert series is a tribute to Dolores Huerta -- Chicana labor leader, civil right activist, one of the founders of United Farm Workers -- and we expect Ms. Huerta to attend the concert in person. A celebration of tamales as one of the iconic staples of California’s rich Mexican and American heritage, there will be tamales, gourmet hot dogs, kettle corn, funnel cakes and lots of other food. There will be Tamale and Salsa contests, both professional and amateur, and lots of booths of crafts, jewelry, ladies fashion and more. On Sunday, August 27, we will play a Latin jazz concert at Gandara Park from 5pm to 7pm.  This lovely park is located at 1819 Stewart St, Santa Monica 90404. On Friday, October 13, we will perform at the concert "American Dreamers -- An Evening of Performance, Music and Comedy," a benefit to be held at the Los Angeles Theatre Center in DTLA, from 8pm to 10:30pm. On Saturday, October 14, 12noon to 1pm, Los Angeles, we will play with our trio at the Audubon Center at Debs Park for their Pachanga De Las Americas event.
