    Fundraiser for Canto Tropical, KPFK, Saturday, 8/20/22

    On Saturday, August 20, 6pm to 11pm, East LA, we will play at a fundraiser for Canto Tropical, the fabulous radio program on KPFK that plays great salsa and promotes local salsa bands and events. The location of the party will be Rudy's LA, 5226 E Pomona Blvd, Los Angeles 90022, (323) 430-4063. Our band plays from 8pm to 10pm. There will be great salsa dancing, excellent food, a silent auction, and an opportunity to meet the incredible DJs of Canto Tropical -- Hector "La Voz" Resendez, Kathy "La Rumbera" Diaz, and Armando "El Caballero Salseo" Nila. Admission is free, but a $20 donation is requested to support KPFK and Canto Tropical. Free parking at Pep Boys, 256 Atlantic Blvd, 90022. Please join us for a good cause and a wonderful night of food, fun and dancing! Free.
