On Friday, January 2, 4pm to 5pm, Pasadena, we will perform at the Rose Parade showcase FloatFest. The festival is outdoors at the intersection of Sierra Madre Blvd and Washington Blvd, Pasadena CA 91107. The event runs all day from 9am to 5pm, and we're the headliner on Friday from 4pm to 5pm (please not time change), with Lalo Alfaro substituting for our regular lead singer, Daniel Castillo. Experience the rare opportunity to get up close to these incredible Rose Parade floats. Enjoy some of LA’s top food trucks, and a beer and wine garden. NEW!! COMING RIGHT UP! On Thursday, February 12, 5pm to 8pm, Norwalk, we will play at the Norwalk Senior Center with our 6-piece band for a Valentine's Day and Mardi Gras Mixer. On Saturday, February 14, 6pm to 11:30pm, Baldwin Park, we'll play salsa with our quartet for a Valentine's Salsa Dinner Dance presented by the Borinquen Post 508 of the American Legion. Our beloved Daniel Castillo, the lead singer of the Susie Hansen Latin Band, has been released on bond from ICE Detention and was able to spend the holidays with his family.  Daniel has a February court date, and we ask for your prayers and good thoughts that he can remain in the US and continue to make great music.

On Sunday, May 17, 6pm to 7pm, Northridge, we will once again play at the Salute to Recreation Family Festival with our 7-piece band. The location is Northridge Park, 10058 Reseda Blvd, Northridge CA 91325. Beer garden, food and drink, carnival rides & games, international marketplace. Festival runs all weekend. Come dance with us! On Friday, May 30, 7pm to 9pm, Alhambra, we will play a concert and dance with our quartet at the Alhambra Performing Arts Center, located at the Sage Granada Methodist Church. On Thursday, July 9, 6pm to 8pm, Beverly Hills, we will play with our 7-piece band for the Beverly Hills Concerts on Cañon. The location is Beverly Cañon Gardens, 241 N Cañon Dr, Beverly Hills CA 90210. For info: (310) 285-6830. Validation for free parking will be provided at the Concert Information table. We'll be playing salsa, cumbia and Latin jazz for dancing. There's plentiful seating, with an open grass area for picnic blankets, tables and chairs. This event has become very popular over the years, so please come early to find a good spot on the lawn. Free.

On Friday, September 25, 1:30pm to 3:30pm, Los Angeles, we will once again play for the Latin American Heritage Celebration at Angelus Plaza in DTLA with our quartet. The address is 255 S Hill St, LA 90013. Angelus Plaza is a Senior Living Community, and we'll play outdoors on the 4th floor Promenade rooftop. Enter at the main entrance, take the elevator to the "P" level. Everyone is welcome, not just seniors. Free tamales and drinks. Dancers Laura Canellias and Oscar Ramirez will perform and teach the Latin dance steps. Free.
