Radisson Whittier Hotel
Join us once again this summer every Friday evening up to and including September 5,
outdoors by the pool at the Radisson Whittier Hotel for "Dancing Under the Stars." Unwind
with us right after work as we play from 6:30pm to 9:30pm, and then move indoors to the
lounge for more great Latin entertainment. This popular summer event is our 15th annual. Each
Friday, hundreds of terrific Salsa dancers join us in this gorgeous environment outside.

On Saturday, August 9, we will play for a fundraiser for Beacon House in San Pedro, their

Eagle Rock Hillside Park
On Sunday, August 10, we will play at the beautiful Eagle Rock Hillside Park in Los
Angeles, from 6pm to 8:30pm. Bring your lawn chairs, picnics and dancing shoes. The Salsa
Diva, Laura Canelias, one of LA's favorite dance instructors, teaches the Salsa dance steps
from 5pm to 6pm, and maybe during our breaks, too! The address is 1100 Eagle Vista Dr.

On Wednesday, August 13, we will play outdoors at the new open-air mall at the Sherman
Oaks Galleria from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. The address is 15301 Ventura Blvd, at Sepulveda Blvd.

Also on Sunday, August 24, we will play an outdoor concert at Fleming Park in Colton, from

On Saturday, August 30, we will play at the West Coast Jazz Party in Irvine, 2:15pm to

Entire festival runs all through Labor Day weekend, August 28 through August 31, and lots of
great jazz acts will be performing. We share a stage with the Jack Sheldon Californina Cool
Quartet at 12noon and the Thom Rotella 4-tet at 1:15pm. On Saturday morning, there will be a
screening of Jack Sheldon's new movie, "Trying to Get Good." Performing on Sunday will be
Houston Person, Bill Mays, the Butch Miles and Annie Sellick Band, the Jeff Hamilton Trio,
and their closing act, the Freddy Cole Quartet, featuring Nat Cole's brother and Natalie's
uncle, Freddy Cole.
On Saturday, September 13, we will be at the Lawndale Multicultural Festival in Lawndale,

Glassell Park Festival
On Sunday, September 21, we will be at Glassell Park Festival in Los Angeles, from
approximately 3:30pm to 5pm. The location is the Glassell Park Recreation Center, 3650

On Saturday, October 4, 2008, we will perform at the Inglewood Celebrates the Arts
Festival, approximately 2pm to 4pm, exact time "tba." Check back here later for more info.

Orange Coast College "Dia de La Raza"
On Sunday, October 12, join us at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa for "Dia de la Raza."
We play from 4pm to 6pm, and the festival runs from 11am to 6pm. The address of the college
is 2701 Fairview Road, and this event will be held outdoors on the Quad. Besides our band,
there will be other great entertainment, along with good food and other booths, and a huge
dance floor with lots of great dancers. Free. Open to the public.
On Friday, October 17, we will be performing as part of the Claremont Depot Jazz Series in

On Sunday, October 19, we will play for a church festival at St Stephen Martyr Church in
Monterey Park, from 4pm to 7pm. The address is 320 W Garvey Ave. The entire event runs from
11am to 8pm. There will be game booths for the children, arts and crafts booths, a silent
auction, a beer and wine garden, and international food including Italian, Indonesian,
Philipino, Mexican and American. Additional entertainment includes Folklorico dancers,
Indonesian dancers, a Frank Sinatra impersonator, Mariachis and more! Free. Call
