On Thursday, March 8, from 6:30pm to 9:30pm, we will play for the Third Annual Gala to benefit Big Sunday in Los Angeles, honoring Marta Kauffman, Kaiser Permanente. Big Sunday connects people through helping, with the belief that absolutely everyone has some way that they can help somebody else, and produces or promotes more than 2,000 giving-back events annually. On Sunday, September 23, Susie will be one of the honorees at the Rudy Regalado Foundation Gala from 5pm to 10pm. There will be a variety of drink and food specials -- traditional street-style tacos, corn on the cob, festive sweets, and their full restaurant menu. There will be free face painting to celebrate the Day of the Dead. Bring an offering for the traditional altar. We will perform great Salsa dance music with our quartet. No cover charge! On Monday, November 19, we will play for the Ballroom Dance Club at UCLA for their Annual Fall Quarter Salsa Party, in Westwood, from 9pm to 11:15pm. The location is UCLA's Ackerman Union Grand Ballroom, 308 Westwood Plaza, Los Angeles 90095. Free Salsa dance class with James and Cynthia from 7:30pm to 9pm. Doors open at 7pm.  Sponsored by the Ballroom Dance Club and International Folk Dance Club at UCLA, all ages are welcome. Affordable metered parking is just off campus at the corner of Westwood Blvd/Le Conte Ave. There is free parking in Westwood Village at city meters after 8pm. On Friday, December 21, 6pm to 8pm, we will play a holiday concert at the Original LA Farmers Market on the west side of Los Angeles. The address is 6333 West 3rd St, LA 90036. Call 323-933-9211.The historic Farmers Market is located at Fairfax and 3rd St, adjacent to the Grove for great Christmas shopping. Celebrate the holiday with us! There will be a wide variety of food and drinks available.  We'll play some holiday music with a Latin beat, and great Salsa music for dancing! On Sunday, December 30, we will play at Fisherman's Village in Marina del Rey, from 1pm to 4pm (winter hours). The address is 13755 Fiji Way, 90292. Enjoy Salsa dancing with us in the sun and the sea air. Plenty of good food and drink available from the many vendors at Fisherman's Village. Two hours of free parking with validation.
